Welcome to the online home of Sprint Systems of Photography.
Sprint Systems of Photography proudly supports several youth-based community darkrooms in the New England area. One of our recipients, the In-Sight Photography Project, is having a raffle to benefit their darkroom. Based in Brattleboro, VT, In-Sight teaches photography to teens regardless of the ability to pay and seeks youth in need of alternative positive learning situations, coupling with other local non-profits, teachers & counselors to achieve this effort.
Proceeds from the raffle fund student scholarships and each raffle ticket buyer is guaranteed a print. The eighty-plus photographs include prints from Fred Picker, Tom Young and Carl Chiarenza and range in value from $100 to $2,500. Tickets can be purchased by visiting In-Sight's website and the drawing will be held on Thursday, May 22, at the Hooker-Dunham Gallery during In-Sight’s student show.
Go to www.insight-photography.org to find out more information about the raffle and the In-Sight Photography Project.
Sprint Systems of Photography will be at the national Society of Photographic Educators (SPE) conference from March 13-16, 2008, in the Adams Mark hotel in downtown Denver, CO. At this year's symposium, Agents of Change: Art and Advocacy, Sprint Systems is proud to sponsor the lecture of artist Subhanker Banerjee, whose documentary work took center stage during the 108th United States Congress and changed the fate of drilling for oil in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). Visit with President Marlaine Noel and staff at booths 1 and 2 to hear more about Sprint's products and history. The Sprint System has been a valued black and white photo chemistry for students and teachers since 1973. Sprint's team looks forward to meeting new clients, as well as connecting with old friends at this annual conference.
Please look at the SPE National website for more details about this yearly event.
Many thanks to an observant customer who noticed a typographical error in the time chart printed on our 1 Liter STANDARD ® Film Developer bottle. This chart incorrectly lists a chart letter of Q for Kodak 3200TMZ. The correct chart letter for this film is S. This typo is limited to the labels printed directly on our 1 Liter STANDARD ® Film Developer bottle; all other postings of this film's processing time are listed correctly.
Sprint Systems of Photography apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.

In the interest of better serving our customers, Sprint has created a new poster listing development times and temperatures for a wide range of commercially available films. This poster mirrors the development times listed on our site, while providing a large format, easy to read resource for use in the darkroom. Posters are available for purchase through our online store.
Poster is black and white offset print on matte paper. Dimensions 16" x 24"
My film has different development times with Sprint Standard Film Developer and Kodak D 76. Aren't they the same?
